Our leader is Richard Martin.
Richard Martin is an experienced violinist, orchestral leader, and teacher with a career spanning professional military music, symphony orchestras, and chamber ensembles. He studied at the Birmingham Conservatoire, graduating with a BMus (Hons) in Performance, and has studied with notable violinistsincluding Marat Bisengaliev and John Crawford.
Richard’s orchestral background has taken him on international tours across Europe, China, and the USA. During his time with the Corps of Army Music, he performed for high-profile Royal occasions, including State Banquets, investitures and the Festival of Remembrance.
