The orchestra was devastated to hear the news of the death of one of our long serving players Sally Preece. Sally was taking part in a charity bike ride when she was involved in a tragic crash.
Sally played violin with the orchestra for many years and was not only a wonderful musician but had an energy and enthusiasm which were impossible not to be inspired by. Her many friends in the orchestra will miss her greatly and we extend our deepest condolences to her husband Phil and her children Brad and Amy.
